We grew up with sud-ouest winds.
From the shores of the Fleuve St-Laurent to the open beaches of the Îles de la Madeleine, warm summer winds shaped the days — surfing waves, kitesurfing until sunset, and living the kind of simple, unforgettable moments that end up defining you.
Those places didn’t just give memories.
They sparked passion and curiosity.
Every session led to thinking about the elements — how wind builds power, kites generate lift, materials flex, bend, and perform. That curiosity naturally pulled us into engineering, where the same forces we felt on the water became equations, prototypes, and design decisions.
Sudwes was born from that mix of place, passion, and precision.
